/chatmode

Change which chat channel your messages go to by default.

Syntax

/chatmode <global|proximity|team>

What it does

• global: visible to everyone.
• proximity: only players within about 75 blocks (radius) can see it.
• team: only your team can see it.

Examples

• /chatmode global
• /chatmode proximity
• /chatmode team

Notes

• You must be in a team to use team mode.
• You can also toggle team chat quickly with /tc.
• Requires the chat mode cosmetic unlock.
