Combat Tagging

NapMC uses combat tags to prevent logging out of fights.

How a Tag Starts

  • A valid PvP hit tags both players.
  • Hits inside spawn PvP-safe area do not start combat tags.

Duration

  • Combat tag lasts 90 seconds.
  • Getting hit again refreshes the timer.

While Tagged

  • Elytra is stripped if equipped.
  • Riptide tridents are blocked/stripped and given cooldown.
  • Ender pearls use a 5-second cooldown while tagged.
  • Feather Sword and Teleporting Bow use their longer in-combat cooldowns.

Logging Out in Combat

  • Logging out while tagged is treated as a combat-log death.
  • If a valid attacker is attributed, normal Lifesteal heart transfer still applies.

Carry Limits (Always Enforced)

  • Totems of Undying: max 5
  • Ender Pearls: max 32

Extra items are removed and dropped near the player.
