Tracking
Use /track <player> (aliases /tr, /trackplayer) to follow a live target.
Use /track stop to cancel your active track.
Eligibility
- You cannot track yourself.
- Target must have at least 3 hours playtime.
- Target must be online.
Event-Driven Modes
- Exact (
current)- Exact distance + direction arrow.
- Default update interval: 20 ticks (1 second).
- Vicinity
- Bucketed distance only (no direction arrow).
- Default update interval: 1200 ticks (60 seconds).
- Disabled
/trackis blocked for no-tracking windows.
Auto-Cancel Conditions
Tracking is cancelled when any enforced rule breaks, including:
- tracker becomes invisible
- target becomes invisible
- tracker sneaks
- target sneaks
- target logs out
Elytra Rule (Vicinity Only)
In vicinity mode only:
- Wearing/using elytra cancels tracking.
- A 10-minute cooldown starts.
- Cooldown blocks starting/continuing vicinity tracking.
Exact mode does not enforce the elytra cooldown rule.
Auto-Resume
- If your tracking is cancelled by a temporary restriction, auto-resume can retry your last target.
- This uses your
/settingstoggle: Tracking Auto Resume.
Cross-Dimension Handling
- Overworld/Nether distances auto-convert at 8:1.
- End distances are direct when both players are in End.
Output Behavior
- Action bar is the primary output.
- In vicinity mode, chat reminders can also appear periodically (default every 60s).
